The new Premier of Queensland Steven Miles has announced for Queensland a new emissions reduction target of 75% below 2005 levels by 2035. This will be a legislated target.Queensland already has a commitment to deliver 50% renewable energy by 2030, 70% by 2032, and 80% by 2035.
