today unveiled CarbonLow™, a new line of low-carbon gypsum wallboard to be sold in Canada starting in 2025. With up to 60% less embodiedcarbon cradle-to-gate than traditional alternatives, CarbonLow™ will allow contractors and homeowners to utilize the quality CertainTeed solutions they trust, while reducing their environmental footprint.
This project follows several other recent actions taken by the company to solidify its commitment towards sustainability: In October, Saint-Gobain announced CarbonLow TM , a new wallboard line that will contain up to 60% less embodiedcarbon. The Group’s commitment is guided by its purpose, “MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER HOME”.
In October, Saint-Gobain announced CarbonLow TM , a new wallboard line that will contain up to 60% less embodiedcarbon. The line will be produced starting in 2025 from CertainTeed Canadas facility in Montreal, which will be North Americas first zero-carbon (scopes 1 and 2) wallboard facility.
