Vineyard Wind, a joint venture between Avangrid Renewables and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), today passed the final major step in the federal review process, which means it will likely become the first commercial scale offshore wind farm in the United States. Concerns raised over reliability of old-style VOC testing. Industry specialists working on contaminated land are being urged to use the new British Standard BS 10176 for soil sampling.
