The Consumer Goods Forum’s SustainableSupplyChain Initiative (SSCI) expands its scope to include environmental sustainability, helping to build trust, confidence, and clarity in expected standards across vital areas including the impact of farming, forestry and manufacturing.
The Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) protocol is used to evaluate our internal manufacturing sites against a common set of corporate social responsibility standards, developed for the consumer goods industry. We expect them to follow our Human Rights Policy, and to communicate these expectations throughout their supplychain.
